As a technical specialist in Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), I’m passionate about translating these complex innovations into tangible, real-world solutions. I thrive on the challenge of identifying where DLT can be truly transformative, driving disruptive and successful outcomes. This passion also led me to start pbtokn.com, a venture dedicated to developing programmable money for everyday use. Making money a force for good -a tool to end poverty, increase sustainability and create trust in a divided world (this was also the topic for my TED-talk).
Beyond my co-founding role at BlockchainLab Drenthe, where I designed and developed practical blockchain applications and lectured at a University of Applied Science, I’m also a keynote speaker known for my ability to ignite enthusiasm for technology. With over nine years of experience organizing hackathons, I continuously push the boundaries of what’s possible, believing that true innovation lies in making the impossible a reality.
