Frederic de Vaulx is currently CEO of Prometheus Computing LLC, a U.S. small business supporting U.S. Federal Agencies like the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Frederic has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Telecom Nancy, France with an emphasis on information system design and development.
He has more than 15 years of experience working with U.S. Federal research partners leading the design, architecture and development of web based information systems spanning domains like metrology calibration, healthIT standards, law enforcement and operational management.
Frederic has also more than 10 years of experience exploring emerging technologies and their strategic applications within the U.S. Federal government like supporting NIST with research around the Cyber Physical Cloud Computing concept and the engineering and development of a distributed, near real-time IoT system.
He is a member of ACT-IAC (American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council) where he is the industry chair of the Emerging Technology Community of Interest and co-chairs the blockchain working group that published among other things ACT-IAC technology playbooks to help Federal blockchain and AI adoption. Frederic is also Vice Chair of the IEEE P2145 Blockchain Governance Standards WG and a member of the Government Blockchain Association where he is a Blockchain Maturity Model lead assessor among other things.
